These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Oke Rinjani’s services and participation in any trekking tours organized by us. By booking a tour with us, you agree to accept all terms outlined below.

1. Booking and Payment

• A deposit of 30% of the total cost is required to secure your booking.

• The remaining balance must be paid no later than the day before the trek.

• Payment can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or in cash (IDR/USD/EUR).

2. Cancellations and Refund Policy

• Cancellations 14 days or more before the trek start date: 100% deposit refund.

• Cancellations 7–13 days before: 50% deposit refund.

• Cancellations less than 7 days: Deposit is non-refundable.

• No-shows or early departures: no refund will be issued.

3. Weather and Safety

• Trekking is subject to weather and volcanic activity conditions.

• In the event of trail closure by the authorities or hazardous weather, we will:

  • Offer an alternative itinerary (if possible), or

  • Provide a full refund or partial refund, depending on costs already incurred.

4. Health and Physical Condition

• Participants must be in good physical condition.

• You are responsible for informing us about any medical conditions, allergies, or medications.

• We reserve the right to cancel or adjust your participation if it endangers your safety.

5. Travel Insurance

• We strongly recommend that all participants have valid travel insurance that covers:

  • High-altitude trekking

  • Emergency evacuation

  • Medical costs

  • Trip cancellation or interruption

6. Liability

• Oke Rinjani and its staff are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage of personal belongings during the trip.

• By participating, you agree to assume all risks associated with mountain trekking.

7. Shared Group Policy (Join-In Tours)

• Participants in shared group tours must understand that:

  • Trekking pace depends on the group’s average ability

  • Delays may occur due to varying fitness levels

  • Guides will prioritize group safety and balance

8. Code of Conduct

• Respect local communities, nature, and fellow trekkers

• Littering or environmental damage is strictly prohibited

• Disrespectful, aggressive, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund

9. Use of Photos and Videos

• By joining the tour, you grant permission for photos/videos taken during the trek to be used by Oke Rinjani for promotional purposes, unless requested otherwise in writing.
