Itinerary

Day 1 - Sembalun Village to Sembalun Crater Rim

Begin your journey with a trek through the rolling savannahs of Sembalun, gradually ascending to the crater rim where you will camp for the night with spectacular views of the lake and summit.

Daily Schedule

07:00 AM - Registration at Sembalun Rinjani Information Center

08:00 AM - Start trek through the open savannah

12:00 PM - Lunch break at POS 2 (Tengengean)

05:00 PM - Arrive at Sembalun Crater Rim, set up camp

06:30 PM - Dinner and rest early for the summit push

Note: Pace yourself for the long ascent. The trail is mostly exposed to the sun, so hydration and sun protection are critical.

Day 2 - Summit, Crater Lake, Hot Springs

A challenging but rewarding day starting with a midnight push to the summit for sunrise, followed by a descent to the beautiful crater lake and relaxing hot springs.

Daily Schedule

02:00 AM - Wake up, light breakfast, and begin summit attack

06:00 AM - Reach Rinjani Summit (3,726m) for sunrise

09:00 AM - Return to camp for second breakfast

10:00 AM - Descend to Segara Anak Crater Lake

02:00 PM - Arrive at lake, visit natural hot springs

05:00 PM - Camp overnight by the lake

Note: The summit push is extremely cold and windy. The hot springs in the afternoon are perfect for soothing tired muscles.

Day 3 - Crater Lake to Torean Village

Descend through the stunning Torean route, walking along river valleys, waterfalls, and lush rainforests before concluding your trek.

Daily Schedule

07:00 AM - Breakfast by the lake

08:00 AM - Begin descent via Torean route

12:00 PM - Lunch near the Penimbungan waterfall

04:00 PM - Arrive at Torean Village, end of trek

05:00 PM - Transfer to your next destination

Note: The Torean route is steep and narrow in places but offers incredible, Jurassic Park-like valley views.
