These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Oke Rinjani’s services and participation in any trekking tours organized by us. By booking a tour with us, you agree to accept all terms outlined below.
1. Booking and Payment

A deposit of 30% of the total cost is required to secure your booking.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than the day before the trek.

Payment can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or in cash (IDR/USD/EUR).
2. Cancellations and Refund Policy

Cancellations 14 days or more before the trek start date: 100% deposit refund.
-
Cancellations 7–13 days before: 50% deposit refund.
-
Cancellations less than 7 days: Deposit is non-refundable.
-
No-shows or early departures: no refund will be issued.
3. Weather and Safety

Trekking is subject to weather and volcanic activity conditions.

In the event of trail closure by the authorities or hazardous weather, we will:

Offer an alternative itinerary (if possible), or
-
Provide a full refund or partial refund, depending on costs already incurred.

4. Health and Physical Condition

Participants must be in good physical condition.
-
You are responsible for informing us about any medical conditions, allergies, or medications.

We reserve the right to cancel or adjust your participation if it endangers your safety.
5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants have valid travel insurance that covers:

High-altitude trekking

Emergency evacuation
-
Medical costs
-
Trip cancellation or interruption

6. Liability

Oke Rinjani and its staff are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage of personal belongings during the trip.

By participating, you agree to assume all risks associated with mountain trekking.
7. Shared Group Policy (Join-In Tours)

Participants in shared group tours must understand that:

Trekking pace depends on the group’s average ability

Delays may occur due to varying fitness levels
-
Guides will prioritize group safety and balance
-
8. Code of Conduct

Respect local communities, nature, and fellow trekkers
-
Littering or environmental damage is strictly prohibited
-
Disrespectful, aggressive, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund
9. Use of Photos and Videos

By joining the tour, you grant permission for photos/videos taken during the trek to be used by Oke Rinjani for promotional purposes, unless requested otherwise in writing.
